Lattice QCD calculation of B̄ ̃Dln̄ decay form factors at zero recoil

چکیده
A lattice QCD calculation of the B̄→Dl n̄ decay form factors is presented. We obtain the value of the form factor h1(w) at the zero-recoil limit w51 with high precision by considering a ratio of correlation functions in which the bulk of the uncertainties cancels. The other form factor h2(w) is calculated, for small recoil momenta, from a similar ratio. In both cases, the heavy quark mass dependence is observed through direct calculations with several combinations of initial and final heavy quark masses. Our results are h1(1) 51.007(6)(2)(3) and h2(1)520.107(28)(04)(30 ). For both the first error is statistical; the second stems from the uncertainty in adjusting the heavy quark masses and the last from omitted radiative corrections. Combining these results, we obtain a precise determination of the physical combination FB→D(1) 51.058(17 ), where the mentioned systematic errors are added in quadrature. The dependence on lattice spacing and the effect of quenching are not yet included, but with our method they should be a fraction of FB→D21.

A lattice QCD calculation of the B̄ → Dlν̄ decay form factors is presented. We obtain the value of the form factor h+(w) at the zero-recoil limit w = 1 with high precision by considering a ratio of correlation functions in which the bulk of the uncertainties cancels. The other form factor h−(w) is calculated, for small recoil momenta, from a similar ratio. In both cases, the heavy quark mass depe...

We present a lattice QCD calculation of B → πlν semileptonic decay form factors in the small pion recoil momentum region. The calculation is performed on a quenched 163 × 48 lattice at β = 5.9 with the NRQCD action including the full 1/M terms. The form factors f1(v · kπ) and f2(v · kπ) defined in the heavy quark effective theory for which the heavy quark scaling is manifest are adpoted, and we...

B decay phenomenology is a rapidly growing area of particle physics, as we expect that the precise measurements of various B meson decays provide rich information of the Standard Model and the physics beyond it. Following the successful CLEO, LEP and CDF experiments, the next generation B factories (BaBar and Belle) have just started operation, and other experimental projects will follow. Latti...

A lattice determination of the form factor and decay constants for the semileptonic decay of heavy pseudoscalar (PS) mesons at zero recoil is presented from which the soft pion relation is satisfied. Chiral extrapolation of the form factor is performed at constant q 2. Pole dominance is used to extrapolate the form factor in heavy quark mass. At the B mass, the form factor at zero recoil lies s...
